How End Users Opt-In to Receive Messages

Customers provide consent at the shop level, not through BlockWave directly.

Shops obtain written or verbal consent during their repair authorization or intake process.

BlockWave’s consent checkbox is an indicator confirming that consent was already obtained by the shop.

BlockWave does not generate opt-in — it only stores the shop’s representation that the customer has provided consent to receive transactional repair updates.

Customers can opt out at any time by replying STOP.

Description of Consent Capture

Consent is collected by the repair shop during the customer intake process via signed repair order, digital intake form, or documented verbal consent.

The shop then checks the consent box in BlockWave to reflect that consent.

No messages are sent unless this box is checked.
